JNX Studio — Fuji & Lake Kawaguchi Terrain: Geospatial Information Authority of Japan, DEM10B PNG tiles (z14). Aerial imagery: GSI seamlessphoto (z15), mixed survey dates. https://maps.gsi.go.jp/development/ichiran.html https://maps.gsi.go.jp/development/demtile.html https://maps.gsi.go.jp/help/use.html Tiles downloaded 2026-10-05. Extent: 138.56,35.245 to 138.91,35.56. Terrain resampled to 1025 x 1153 vertices; vertical scale 1:1. Lake outline: © OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL. Kawaguchi relation 2313174. https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/2313174 R2 processing: original GSI aerial imagery is retained in Blender as reference, not used as the visible terrain albedo. Continuous elevation/slope-driven vertex colours represent forest, volcanic rock and seasonal snow, with world-space detail. Forest placement was estimated from aerial vegetation colour. Trees are reconstructed geometry, not surveyed individual trees. Lake interior is lowered for water rendering and does not represent measured bathymetry. Weather, lighting, cloud motion and reflections are illustrative, not live observations. Time initially follows Asia/Taipei and drives an artistic daylight cycle, not an astronomical ephemeris. Editable source: output/fuji-nature/Fuji_Kawaguchi.blend (packed imagery). Original JNX Studio logo retained. Music reuses this collection's existing Tokyo track. R3 lake geometry correction: mapped water surfaces now include Kawaguchi (2313174), Sai (9440753), Shoji (2313177), Motosu (9440754) and Yamanaka (9440752), using OpenStreetMap multipolygon outlines within the terrain extent. Inland terrain beneath these surfaces is lowered for rendering, not bathymetry. Tree instances inside the added lake polygons were removed. Kawaguchi uses a live planar reflection; surrounding lakes use lower-cost rippled specular water.
